Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the puff pastry box and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combined diced apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar and stir to combine.
Heat over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes or until the sugar is melted and the apples are softened (but not mushy). Remove from heat and set aside.
Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and cut into 4 equal square pieces Place about 1 tablespoon of apple filling in the center of each piece of puff pastry.
Dip a pastry brush into some water and run around the edges of the pastry. Fold the square over to form a triangle.
Use a fork to press slightly along the sides of the triangle to create a seal. Use a sharp knife to cut an “X” in the top of each turnover to create a vent. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Once the turnovers have cooled. Make the icing by combining all ingredients into a small bowl and whisking to combine until smooth. Use a spoon or condiment bottle to drizzle each turnover with icing.
