Hi, I’m Brittany Keller, professional recipe developer, food photographer, and blogger of Baking Up Memories.

It is my goal to create delicious and simple dessert recipes that anyone can create. I have enjoyed baking as long as I can remember and I want to share all of my tips and tricks with you!

I live in NE Tennessee with my husband Lonnie and two kids, Christian and Gabriel. I love baking (obviously), photography, reading, traveling, and the outdoors. I am a caffeine addict that cannot function without it, and I also have a KILLER sweet tooth.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2019 from King University. I always dreamed of becoming a psychiatrist until I created Baking Up Memories. Now I am a full time food photographer and recipe developer for not only my blog, but others as well. I enjoy creating tasty desserts and beautiful images. If you told me when I was younger that this is what I would be doing at 27 years old.. I would laugh at you and call you a liar.. But now, I am living my best life.

When I graduated high school I began working as a CNA and worked in home health, nursing home, and hospital environments. I loved the connection I had with my patients, however as time went on, I grew to loathe the job. As a healthcare professional you are over worked and under paid and often had to deal with a lot of drama. While working as a CNA I become pregnant with my first son, Christian. I went on maternity leave, and never went back.

It hurt my heart to think about leaving my son with someone else….even family. I knew I wanted to do something for myself, I just didn’t know what.. I tried selling cakes on the side, selling clothing, and various other little jobs but nothing ever really clicked. Then I found out that I could photograph food AND get paid for it??? WHAT?? I was so surprised and didn’t even know it was a thing… I started creating recipes and selling them to bloggers and I found out I was actually good at it! Then I realized… why don’t I start a blog… and share my own recipes??? So, I did, and that is how Baking Up Memories was born!

I put my heart and soul into this blog and I promise that I will always be transparent and share/promote the best. All of my recipes are tested and I will never share something that I know will be a flop. I take great pride in what I do, and honestly I am a little ADHD.. so when I do something, I go in 100%

I am so glad that you found me and I hope you will stick around a while. Take a look around. I hope you find something you like! If you try a recipe on my page and you love it, please share and comment! It really means the world to me when people share their experiences with my recipes. Also, let me know if there is something I can improve on.
